I am reading The Sea Of Monsters. It is about a boy named Percy, who has these weird friends who are named Grover (half donkey, half human), and Anna Beth. They traveled with Percy throughout the whole story in The Lightning Thief. Now, in this book, Percy is facing a bully in school.
He has made a new friend in this book. I can’t remember his name because they didn’t say his name that much. I will explain Percy’s new friend that he made. He lived in the streets before he could get excepted into a school. Then, one day he got excepted into the school that he is in now. (With Percy) He is very large for his size, nice though even if he had strong muscles to hurt you. He is actually really a scardy cat. He lives in an old refrigerator, on the alley. I am pretty sad about him, that he may not be able t attend the next school year.
My favorite character right now is Percy, because he let him be his friend. Not because he was strong, because he had no friends at all. He didn’t want to make him feel left out, like him before. So he did not want to make him feel bad about himself, he should feel proud of himself. That is why I like Percy right in the beginning.
I think this is starting out to be a very good book. I think I know why, because they are about to do a dodgeball fight in gym class. I want to recommend this book to you. See you next time!
